About Tempest Technology

Welcome to the Positive Pressure Ventilation fan group sponsored by Tempest Technology. This fan group is the place to discuss Positive Pressure Ventilation equipment, applications and techniques.

PPV can have a very positive impact on the environment inside a burning structure by quickly reducing the interior temperature and greatly improving visibility. PPV should never be attempted without proper training for all fire ground personnel and coordination with other fire ground tactics.

Whether your department uses PPV during fire attack or only during overhaul, you can find information here that will help you get the most out of your PPV equipment. In addition, we will post information on upcoming PPV training programs.

Tempest Technology is a leader and innovator in the development of tools for Positive Pressure Ventilation. We take tremendous pride in the role our products play in enhancing safety for people who make their living working in hazardous environments.
