that was 1st test ever of that in water it looks like diffrent in video but it draws around the head , if you have ever used vacum splints it works same way . we have since modifed how use it we first slip back board under pt then vac mat seem so far to work great floats and secures pt well also 1 person can flip it over if pt went face down

Vac Mat, interesting. Have you played with it much. Seems to have a problem with proper head positioning.

Would like to welcome all new members to swiftwater group here lately we have using diffrent equipment in water immbolization we went with a vac mat that does float in water and works very well I will post video shortly on it

hi guys. Ima swiftwater first responder in NZ. Did my course with EMANZ (Emergency Management Academy of New Zealand) and we did it the course using the Rescue 3 International books i think. Anyway heres a pic of my patch :)

hey all i have just started studying for swift water rescue if anyone can send me information on swift water rescue manuals that would be great because i am looking at wrighting up a rescue manual for the rescue squad her is my postal address
