Greetings, Wanted to say hello and I think Sutphen Fire App. is the finest and the toughest out there. My friends in Ligoneer, Pa. have 3 fine looking rigs all SUTPHEN'S.

At York County Pennsylvania, Station 24, we Love our Sutphens. We had a 1972, 95 foot Truck, W/ 1500 gpm pump and now have a 2002, 95 foot Truck, W/ 2000 gpm pump. We had a 1982, and a 1988 engine. We just bought a 2007 Sutphen Engine, 2000 gpm pump, W/ class A and B foam. We did have some problems with it, and it took a while for Sutphen to work out the problem. But now its a great engine for us. We would be driving down the road with it, and it would start bucking like crazy. Sutphen discovered that the frame was twisting, and wasn't strong enough. They took it to a shop and put a sub-frame on it, and that did the trick. Sutphen builds a good piece of equipment, and the best part they stand behind it if their are problems..
