Correction in the Medivac name. It was Carolina Lifecare. Sorry for the mistake.

First thing I would do would be to talk to your chain of command about this. If they are unable to answer your question I would suggest contacting the SC Fire Academy and seeing what you need for reciprocity as far as certifications. It's been a while since I had to do it, and I can't recall if you need certificates or transcripts these days.

That said, in the end it all depends on what the Columbia-Richland administration wants to accept, even if the SCFA grants reciprocity. If they so desire they could make you go through the entire program again.

Brandon,

If your FFI and FFII are IFSAC, the answer is "yes", it's recognized by the S.C. Fire Academy. If not, you can get reciprocity for NPQ/ProBoard FFI and FFII. If you have any other FFI and FFII, you may have to either test out or you may even have to repeat the course, depending.

Call A.J. Esposito at the South Carolina Fire Academy to find out.
He's listed on their site.
