I will be starting FFI in Oct., I have my NREMT already so that is why Im not taking the EMT part. What would anyone suggest as a way to get fit or stay fit for the academy? Routines and programs of all sorts are welcome! Thanks.

A Fire Fighter's Prayer
When I am called to duty, God,
Whenever Flames may rage
Give me strength to save a life
Whatever be its age.
Help me embrace a little child
Before it is too late
Or save an older person from
The horror of that fate.
Enable me to be alert
And hear the weakest shout
And quickly and efficiently
Put the fire out.
I want to fill my calling
To give the best in me
To guard my friend and neighbor
And protect his property.
