Old dog here in Alma Michigan. I worked for a BLS provider in Toledo way back in the 80`s, moved to Michigan for a "real job" as my ex put it. After that career and........the whole EX factor. I`m back in EMS and yes, crazy enough to go to medic class. Halfway there......Is it over yet?? Half of the FTO`s are my kids age...lol....

I'm just about to enter the tunnel, so looking for the light at the end is far in my future. But damn its nice to finally be getting ready to begin

I'm finishing up my Paramedic school at the Ohio University of Lancaster, and I've loved it. It's been alot of fun, but I'm ready to get out and test to have my card. It's been a long 9 months!!!

Hey all, fron Missouri. I'm getting ready to take my EMT-b this fall and then go on to my EMT-P. Never thought in my life I'd do something like this, but I also thought I'd never be crazy enough to become a firefighter.

Hi All, was going through paramedic program a year ago before being called up for another tour in Iraq. Not sure if I should wait a year after I get home to reinforce my EMT-B skills or jump right back in to paramedic school. Any thoughts?
