Comment by russ allen on September 13, 2009 at 3:10am - we lost a brother tonite. Terry Shannon , Monterey Vol. Fire Department lost his life upon returning from a 1046. He was found slumped in the front seat of the mini-pumper. Brothers worked on him and then ALS, he was pronounced. Please pray for the family and his brothers who worked with and on him.

I have a fellow firefighter and friend that had a motorcycle accident last weekend. He has 9 broken ribs total, 2 bones in his back and a lacerated liver ( it ahs stopped bleeding on its own.
He is in th UK MedCenter and needs our prayers. He should recover but it will take a long time. He said that he will probably stop riding because he says he relives the accident each day. Thanks
