lupus and sjogrens syndrome is whats known as an auto immune disease. they tell your body that things are wrong in your immune systems and there fore your body starts attacking what is bad but somewhere/somehow the wires got crossed and the body starts attacking itself.
it causes full body aches that are like having the worst flu symptoms they ever had but never goes away.(if that is their good day)they both attack your organs, joints,an even a very high risk of lymphomia.
sjogrens syndrome attacks the tear ducts in the eyes(which can lead to blindness)salvia glands for the mouth which in turn promote teeth decay and lose, there is nuro problems, possible kidney disease.
the disease effects the family of the one that has it as well. as with an person that has a chronic illness its very scary never knowing what is going to happen next, what each day will bring. nothing is planned due to the ever changing effects on the body by being attacked by itself.
awareness needs to brought to the lime light for people with sjogrens syndrome, this is a disease that very little is known about by the average person. support not only for the patient but for the family and friends of the patient as well

We Have Firefighters that are uncomfotable with certain areas of the job, but they are more than useful in other tasks, I don't think that anyone should be forced to go into a fire, especially on a volunteer department. I agree with one of the oth...
