My Family and I are wanting to move to the Georgia area but we are not sure where yet. We are from a small town(32,000) now and we are looking for a small town there. In sept we looked a couple of towns, Hezpibah and Statesboro. We did not like this towns 1 was to big and the other is to small. My wife and I will be coming back there in the spring. I need some help on where to start. Does anyone know of some good towns that we can look at?
Thanks Robert

The reason we are moving south is because of the cold. We hate winter. We want warm weather in the winter 60 or better

That sounds great. I am looking at the week of March 17th or April 21st. it all depends when my wife can take vacation. What big town is Acworth close to.

I work in Cartersville, it is about 30 miles North of Atlanta. There are lots of small towns in and around the county. Bartow County has 6 municipalities ranging from 25 square miles with lots of people to less than 5 square miles with only a few hundred but it is still convienent to Atlanta & Chattanooga. A good resource for you would be to use www.georgia.gov, look down the left side of the page and you will see a section called Regions, Countys, & Cities. You can look up every regions, county, city and community and see the location, poulation, square miles, it also has links to each city & county's official website. You can get a lot of good information from there. Have a good one.

Start with Hinesville, if you want to look in South GA. There's also Jesup, Brunwick, Valdosta and several others in SE GA
