So i have a question. ive been reading up on the FOOLS and i love what they do what the stand for there mission, and tradition. But i havent found a Fools chapter in my part of virginia. Spotsylvania, Virginia. FOOLS seems like a great way to meet other firefighters, train together, And Raise money for great causes and folks. if anyone could turn me in the right direction to start a new chapter with a bunch of guys in central va. or maybe i have over looked there site. Thanks in advance Jesse Love, Spotsylvania Virginia (currently S. Baghdad Iraq)

Jesse simply go to the International FOOLS website and they will guide into setting up a chapter. Here is your chance to start something that will last forever in your area. I might suggest visiting the northern Virginia chapter and see what it is all about.

Jesse Love...where exactly do you live? We are the Northern Virginia Chapter, but have members that live all over the place...you don't need to live in the area (although it helps) to be a member of a Fools Chapter...Donnie Bathje is right, go to www.foolsinternational.com to see what it's all about and how to set up a chapter in your area...it's a little bit of work, but well worth it...the international's site was down for a while, but the new one is up and running...if you only live a little ways away, you are more than welcome to attend our training...just visit our website for the info...we have had folks travel from Chesepeake, and as far away as Indiana to attend our RIT weekend...we have a Engine & Truck Company Operations class in April...stay safe...

keith thanks for the reply again. i live in spotsylvania county right near fredericksburg. im a volunteer here in the county. like i said earlier i looked at the nova fools website a few time and i love everything that happens, the training, and what fools is all about. but it said you must live in such and such county and spotsylvania wasnt listed so. i'd love to come up and take some classes and such when i get home im just over in iraq doing this contract firefighter gig right now, trying to get me a house so.

what station are you at in fairfax we have some guys that i volunteer with back home that work up there.

Hey Jesse, I have seen some chapters in Iraq but I have no idea who or how to get a hold of them. Go to http://www.foolsinternational.com/ and look up your area. Or, start your own chapter!! Get some like minded firemen and start it up. Get ahold of the international and they can help out. Let me know if I can help out at all and I will do what I can...I am part of Palm Beach County FOOLS... http://pbcfools.com/main.html . We are in the process of re-doing our web site so it may be down. Good luck and God bless

Cool thanks! I've glanced over our AED's instructions but I kinda just figured an AED was an AED. I didn't think there were too many differences. I will be sure to take some time and read through them to figure out our specific AED.
