Comment by Lt. Caleb French on July 15, 2009 at 7:08pm - Just bought a 7' Medium Heavy casting rod, paired with a brand new Abu Garcia Pro Max bait caster : ) I lined it with Trilene's new trans optic 10 lb line. I am looking forward to catching some monster hawg's on this rig : )

I've been out about a dozen times in the past 3 weeks or so to no avail. Bought a new Quantum Escalade bait caster that I am working on , picked up a few "money minnows" by YUM, that came highly recommended to me by a tourney winning journeyman...re-lined a couple of rods with Berkely 'Vanish" line...Standing by for NC state trout season to open April 4th, BUT I hafta get the docs to figure out what is wrong with my knee injury first so i can really get back out amongst 'em..

Comment by Chris Sterling on March 13, 2009 at 8:06am - Hi everyone, Getting ready to start the new season. We're surrounded by lakes and creeks here in NW Pa. I, myself love musky fishing! I do fish for big browns in the summer, after everyones done fighting over those mushy little stockies. Had the poles out the other day putting new line on, and oiling up the reels. Like to get a bigger boat. 10 ft. john boat can be a bit tricky to land a big musky in. Have fun, and be safe everyone!
