Once a rookie always a rookie!! Nothing pisses me off more that these "veterans" who seem unwilling to learn new things. They need to get over their big bad selves and remember that when you stop learning new things, that is when you become a danger to your brothers on the line!

As far as I know you don't loose your FF1 credential as it does not have to be recertified, so you can have FF1 and EMT-B and just practice EMT. Our County has a similar rule, if you get FF1 you must take EMT-B within a year and they enforce it on...
