Just wanted to send a quick message out; in what spare time I do have I have ran a badge designing and supply company for almost 5 years now called Cruzan Badges. I wanted to make everyone aware of a couple things...

1. 2009 is the 150th birthday for the State of Oregon and we were selected to design badges some of which are going to be worn by Fire and Police Depts to commemorate this milestone. The badges are made available to all Fire/EMS and Police personal and are available by clicking on the following link.

2. If any of you need a badge, insignia, patches, wallets, etc...please do not hesitate to ask and please be sure to mention firefighternation.com and I will give you a 15% discount. (sorry doesn't include the Oregon 150th badges). You can build and see your badge on line before you even purchase it.

Anyhow stay safe out there.

What is Brotherhood of the Badge? We are a Public Safety company that donates proceeds of our profits to fallen and or injured Public Safety Officers.

Brotherhood of the Badge was created by a fellow Police Officer. We believe that making the choice to serve your fellow man is a very noble choice. We also believe that you should be proud of our shared career field and share that with others. Just like you are proud of your kids and want to boast about them, you too should be honored to be able to have the opportunity to put on that shield each shift and do your part in making our communities safe. We know why some of us out there do not want people to know we are Police Officers however I think it is time we put that to a stop. The same way you learn to recognize a criminal you should also be able to recognize a fellow brother or sister.

We are currently working to help support our fallen brothers and sisters of 9/11. A lot of them out there are still suffering from the effects of that tragic day. Proceeds of products we sell will go to help those with medical bills. If you know of someone who could use some help please send us an email.

We are extremely excited to be able to offer you a unique way to help support our fellow brothers and sisters who have been inquired or killed in the line of duty.

Everyday that we go to work and put the uniform on, pin the badge on and strap on the duty belt we need to remember those before us who have paid the ultimate sacrifice...we are here to carry on in their foot steps. And always tell yourself "Today I am Going Home".

Whether you are a Police Officer, Federal Agent, Deputy, Corrections Officers, Parole and Probation Officer, Security Officer, Military member, Fire Fighter, EMS or a doctor we thank you for your service and dedication.

Thank You,

Paul Bodenhamer
