Who knows a good way to get good dark smoke in container training complex. We burn wood in a burn area inside the container complex. But we get soo little smoke that when doors are opened most smoke clears very fast.
Dos anyone know a good solution for this? We truyed wet hay but without satisfaction.
The container complexes i speak about are build of standard shipping containers.

Ever see a You Tube video you wanted to use in your training but couldn't figure out how to download it to mpeg or avi etc. A couple free programs out there you can use but I think aTubeCatcher is the best. You can download it for free from this site. http://atube-catcher.en.softonic.com/

Anyone know of a way to capture a Flash Video? The recent video of the overturned tiller truck in Durham NC was released in Flash but I can't figure a way to capture it. Anyone have that video in a downloadable format?

Hi my name is Brandon, new to this site . I am NPQ Instructor 1 and structural fire control instructor. Many certifications. I've been working for Donalsonville Fire Department for 4 years now. I think this site is great for sharing information and gaining new and needed knowledge. Glad to be a part of a website with so many other brothers!! ---- IF ANYONE HAS THE ORIGINAL COPY OF NFPA 1403 (1986 version) please contact me, I desperately need it. I have updated version but the original had some charts in it and I have misplaced my copies. Thanks brothers

I have added my class "LDH manifolds" to "trainers corner". Feel free to use it as you need. Any feedback would be appreciated.

This is somewhat of a rant, but also a haven for other people to share their stories correlating to my post as well. Granted, POVs where I live are NOT designated emergency vehicles, we are allowed to run blue lights as a courtesy light. Generall...

They're both great movies. Backdraft is older, so the special effects are better in Ladder 49. They both contain some sort of romanticism, and they both have sad points as well. I suggest renting both, although I personally like Ladder 49 better...
