Pork: shoulders, hams, or Boston Butts when I want BBQ, St Louis cut ribs when I want ribs
Beef: Ribeye, Porterhouse. Still trying to build up the courage to do a brisket
Chicken: Halfs or quarters

"What we in Texas call a "beer butt" chicken"
Yeah, we call that drunken chicken. Try using other beverages like ginger ale, orange juice, even Sprite.

I've also done a miniature version of it with Cornish Hens and those little cans of OJ. It was awesome!
