Can somebody who rides a lowly Kawasaki 1600 Nomad possibly be accepted here? That's me on the right side in the picture at NFA in Emmitsburg. With me is Corey and Jim (both Harley owners).

well i live in northern nevada which means it is the high desert and i'm right at the foothills of the sierra nevada mountains by tahoe. so we do get snow in the winter. but for the most part you can ride year round. just wait until noon and the snow will melt away and it is like spring
again.

Probably doesn't help that I'm in NJ, origionally from NY. I don't think we get as much riding time up here as you do in NV. Would love to move somewere you could ride year round but then I'd never get the chance to snowmobile, my other favorite hobby.

22000 is not too bad. as long as the road is clear and I don't have to work or go to school. i'm on my bike. it is a lot cheaper than driving my truck with the 45 gal. diesel tank.
