hey guys,
whats the best product to use when scratch building? im wanting to make a model of my appliance over here, which is relatively easy to construct being only square angles :D but im unsure what to use for it..
any ideas?

Comment by Ethan Molzahn on October 23, 2009 at 10:12am - compressed air can, soft lint free rag, and pledge future polish, Fine Scale Modeler Mag has all sorts of tips for this. test the polish first on a small unseen spot so not to ruin the paint. good luck

Comment by Russ on October 22, 2009 at 11:12pm - any ideas on how to clean up a dusty model? i need at method also and what cleaner to use. i have three franklyn mint models midship mount la france and the seagrave tiller (both i have driven in my carrear) and the snorkel. i need to clean them up and put in cases. thanks in advance to all that answer. put it on the page so everyone can see

And I've always wanted a fire engine model. Now I know you can order them through catalog or online, but I've always wanted to just find one in a department or hobby store. I never have until just recently, but to my dismay it cost $150. One. Hundred. Fifty. Dollars! For plastic!
