The Florida Department of Forestry utilizes a B-209 "FireSnake" helicopter (demilitarized AH-1P "Cobra" attack helicopters) for fire suppression. These high-speed aircraft can carry a 320 gallon bambi bucket or a foam-injection equipped 360 gallon fixed tank to drop water or foam on Wildland fires.

The A.S.O Joint Operations unit utilizes a Bell OH-58A Kiowa Helicopter for Alachua County. It is utilized for Patrols, Search & Rescue, Major Auto Crashes, Pursuit, and Major Crime Response. It has a FLIR Thermal Imaging, Night Vision and Infrared Camera System, as well as a 30 million candlepower Search Spotlight.

the 1010, 1000 and 1044 are very similar. The 1000 is made with Kevlar. The 1010 and 1000 have a clean, glossy smooth outer shell. The 1044 has the dull matte finish on the outer shell.
