Capt Stanley was out a shift and an old time Capt had the station and did not think much of Paramedics but got convinced at the end of the episode.

dixie mcall was sick with a broken ankle for like 3 episodes

Hmmm... Dixie had a broken ankle...and injured her hand in a fight at a party Johnny was the most accident prone I think... he got bit by a rattlesnake...he got punched in the noses by a drunk driver... he broke his leg in an explosion...Chet and Roy were injured in explosions at structure fires... Roy was electrocuted at a house fire and required defibrillation... Just to name a few...lol
