November 21, 2009 Training

Just so everyone knows. The Columbiana County FF Assoc will have a presentation on Saturday November 21, 2009. Deputy Chief John Sullivan will be here to give a presentation on the Worcester Cold Storage Fire that occured on December 3, 1999 where the Worcester Fire Department lost 6 of their brother firefighters. The presentation he gives is very powerful. The class will probably be held at the Salem High School. The class will start at 08:00 or 08:30. The rest of the details will be determined at a later date.

There was so much to be taken from Chief Sullivan and the events taht changed their world. now for the others that missed it. There are 400+ fire fighters in this county and only 41 one of us where there. WTF is wrong with everyone. this is the best we could muster. The last time this lecture was seen was right here in our back yard. I am embarassed to think of the number of people that turned out. It makes me wonder what will it take to get some in this county to want to take advantage of the FREE trainings that can be set up. Or any training for that matter.; ▶ Reply to This
