Did you know that fire is different depending on where you are located? For real, I never knew this until i found out what is being said behind my back. First off i don't care what people say about me or 2 people especially say about me. I just wish I had all that knowledge. Some firefighter wanted me to know that a fire-(lets say) 2 story residential structure in New York is not the same as a 2 story residential here in Ohio. They are much more dangerous up there. I stay back and just worry about our own business and don't talk about any station but I am the one who is trying to be BIG CITY in Glenmoor.UNBELIEVABLE.. Just wanted to let everyone know how much of a dumb$$$ I feel not knowing that. As long as I am Chief I will not change the way I want to go in our dept I will continue doing it wrong and will use my FDIC instructors to show me a better way of doing it wrong BE SAFE!!!

Well thats great that you dont have that attitude, you could have fooled me...well you did. But I geuss being in Stagging were the Commanding Officer can have some kind of Accountability is stupid. Thats why the NIMS came out because it didnt work right? O I forgot that only for big scale emergencys. As for the 1970 comment it is about the way in which things are done(Tactics). Not how hot the fire is or was. So I geuss firefighters are there to fight fire its all as easy as putting wet stuff on the red stuff there are no tactics involved, and most of that the stuff the book tells you is BS and doesnt apply to smaller departments Thats only for BIG CITY. Anywho I'm glad that dont have the It cant happen to me attitude. I was just going off what u wrote guess you should write a little more so we can hear both sides of the story. So I am truly sorry for assuming.

That was a nice comment girffin. since you pulled it off there ill refresh your memory. Your not worth the argument...your thoughts on fire ground safety, call me when you need help counting boots and digging up bodies. BE SAFE.
I guess you really let your true colors show when someone opposes your ideas on things. I would have expected a little more diplomacy from a chief, but i guess in your case why be diplomatic.

I heard that from a RIT instructor that had to do it in real life Jason and what he says is the truth. Besides sir we did not do RIT on that scene we was just being ready to do what was needed to be done when TOLD yep thats right WHEN TOLD by the officer in charge and that was exacley what happened when your chief gave us that order. Don't know what the hell I did to you but whatever it was must have been pretty bad. I get out all over and get training and try to keep up with what is needed. When was the last time you went out of your own back yard to train? I erased what i said because i told you it wasn't worth arguing about it. Anyways this issue was solved tonight and now we will not have to worry about it again. Just continue to do your thing and I never pushed anything on you to change. We found what works for our station and now we can grow on it. Tell someones wife and kids it was the nature of the beast... Like I said jason this issue was solved so have a nice day ......

It is unfortunate that this has become personal to some. These actions need or should be handled somewhere other then a internet forum...

Just to clarify there about the comment about the county meetings. I have yet to hear that line during a meeting thus far this year. Take Care!

D day this never had to be personal, and it STILL isn't...with me anyway. But since the issue is solved like rich said then I guess its solved. Take it easy fellas and out of all sincerity be careful.

Jason i would still love to sit down and talk with you or you guys what ever the case. my schedule sucks at the moment but i am willing to do what i can to make it happen. good bad or other we need to work threw this issue and find common ground to build off of. we cant allow pride to step in the way of serving the residence we serve.

I gotta chime in too: Bring back the page numbers. Previous and Next is idiotic.
