Comment by Dave Bloom on June 10, 2009 at 3:37pm - I looked at this again and I got it garbled. Both towns I worked in that had '63's also had '72's. One of those towns had both upgraded with automatic trannies, and a 4-door cab makeover. The other left them stick.

- Started out on a '58 on a Ford Chassis. The day we sold it, I pumped 900 gpm from draft (with a 750 pump). Went to a dept. with a Pioneer. Been on 2 departments with '63's, one a '72 and one a'74, all Century cabs. South Holland, IL had 4 engines and a snorkel, all with Century cabs. Last one was a '75. Aaaaahhhh the good old days.

My dept has a 1998 Engine and a 1971 mid mount ladder
We also have a 1951 tiller driven ladder

my old truck was a 1974 slim green
