Which is better Backdraft or Ladder 49?

Both are real good movies but my favorite is Ladder 49 hands down.

Hands down!!! This is by far the best firefighter movie and probably the best movie released in 1991.

As far as answering you question, you will rent both..Both movies have different viewpoints. Ladder 49 tells more realistically the brotherhood story and angle of this job..

Backdraft is pure movie sensationalism. HOWEVER, IMHO, Backdraft should be standard required viewing for all politicians out there because of it's "message" in the storyline, which is---

"Don't F*** with the brotherhood!"

I liked Ladder 49 better. To me there was a little more realism to it. Don't get me wrong, Backdraft is an awsome movie as well.

They are both good.

IMHO; Ladder 49's acting is better, but Backdraft has a better storyline.

The way I look at it, either one is a win/win.

Yeah, Ladder 49 is kinda hard to keep up with at first with all the flashbacks and such.
