Hearing someone screaming inside of a car fire or structure fire and not being able to get to them.

Having to look into the eyes of your friends wife and son to tell them he died at the fire. Still chokes me up.

not being able to save the trapped victim. whether at a 1050 pi or a fire.

not dieing alone. id rather be alone if something bad happens than having a fellow firefighter or victim with me and no chance of coming out.

Having Officers with little REAL LIFE training little experence make bad choices do to not knowing what it can be. Nothing is ever TEXT BOOK !!!

Having family members on the department along with my fiancee, I'd have to say it's getting THE visit or call we often think about but put no voice to---now that my fiancee and I are so far apart, while temp it's even worse. I hear of a fire or incident on the news in that area and I freak.

leaving my 3 lil kids alone. It stays in the back of my head every time we get toned out. Other thatn that I trust all the ppl i work with and know that murphy is always there to kick your ass but th=ry and make it on your terms not his whenever possible.
