S130/S190 Basic Wildland Fire Fighting and Behavior classes

Check with your State Forestry Commission, some states offer online classes through them, but you will have to do your practicals when and where they set them up.

You can travel anywhere? We're probably running wildfire behaviour and suppression near me right now! But I think this is a bit too much of an 'anywhere' for you... Our course numbering is a bit different to yours as well, would confuse everybody. Oh well, I offered ;-)

you can take these classes on-line at the NWCG following link http://training.nwcg.gov/courses.html
You will need to do your practical stuff somewhere including the fire shelter but that will help.

this is the place to take them online but you will still have to have a training day set up to do fire breaks and other practicals i toke them both on here and i have taken the pa 130 and 190 they are almost identical so do them online

You can also do them through NFA Distant Learning online. I have both my 190/130 from there. However to pack test you also have to have the 215 as well as chief sharp stated with the practicals.

You can also take the classroom portion online at www.nfaonline.dhs.gov register as a student and sign up. I just finished S130 last month. Took about 40 hours online.
