Chief...........LOL..That was obvious. I try to look for the non-tourist places to go to when we visit cities her conventions are in. Chicago was a nobrainer. Firehouses, cigar shops and blues bars. Boston was cool, had never been there. it was firehouse, NorthTowne (yes, I know, touresty), Sam Adams Brewery, I rode every subway line....lol....Took the commuter boats out to the islands and back round trip in Nov....

We`re going to Bubba Gump`s one evening with the group. I understand they have a "2 hour all you can drink" special that is as cheap as 3 pints at my local pub.....lol...

I got a buddy that lives there and said that the french quarter is the place to go every where else is kinda trashy. Now I dont know this for sure just what I was told

I`m pretty sure he`s right. A bunch of friends from work were there during and after Katrina. We had 15 units there and I`m not sure how many personell. I`d still like to see the "off the beaten" path areas.

Try Garden St, my wife and stay down there and there were some great place's to eat

LOL............Well, I just got off the phone with a Dep Chief in NO. I`ll be doing a couple of ride alongs with NO FD. Gotta get my ducks in a row now. Letters from work ect.
