(AP) WEST JORDAN, Utah - Six firefighters were endangered, but four others came to their rescue inside a restaurant that was destroyed in a three-alarm fire in West Jordan.

West Jordan Fire Battalion Chief Reed Scharman says 75 firefighters from West Jordan, Midvale, South Jordan, Sandy, Murray and the Unified Fire Authority battled the fire, but Jim's Family Restaurant was a total loss.

Scharman says that for a moment, it became a "May Day" situation when a portion of the roof collapsed. But he says there were no treatable injuries after all.

Investigators think the blaze started before midnight in the attic, but the cause remains under investigation.

Rusty, knowing what to care about is something everyone should be doing out there. It has nothing to do with being an officer or a chief. That being said I'm happy being a hose monkey. Besides, my people skills suck.
