I was hired as a contract firefighter through "WSI" and deploy for Iraq july 20

Anyone that has personally done this or knows of someone doing this please contact me,i am looking for any advice on living there and how everything works over there...i do not need imformation about how to get a this job because i already have been through the process and was hired.

It is a great paying job with opprotunites to add some meat to your resume...I was offered 93,000 for one year and i get 30 days of vacation per year,10 days every 4 months...and they pay for 860 dollars toward any flight to anywhere i want to go. The benefits are pretty good.

any and all advice pertaining to this job would be appreciated...P.S. CAN EVERYONE KEEP ALL THERE ARGUING TO THEMSELVES,I AM LOOKING FOR REAL ADVICE AND THOUGHTS...THANKS

Just curious as I have another buddy who did the Marshall Islands. Your pay sounds good as did his until he realized he was on duty 6-24 hour shifts in a week and then one off. With his working hours figured into all being straight time, it was like $8.00 an hour.

So what is supposed to be your working hours.
