Anyone have an SOG/SOP for the use of Extrication/Rescue Gloves?

Brothers and Sisters,

If anyone has a department SOG/SOG on the use of Extrication/Rescue Gloves for rescue and non structural use, I'd love to get a copy.

Someone at work had the bright idea to issue everyone cheap leather work gloves for rescue and utility use. Needless to say, these things have no grip, come apart easily, become stiff after drying out, and IMHO have no place in the fire service.

We've seen some nasty emails come down from the upper management about wearing non department issued utility/rescue gloves, and how we can be written up if caught by a chief or safety officer. So having had enough, I've been asked to submit an SOG/SOP on the use of non-department issued gloves for rescue and utility work.
