Hey Dan!

I am from West Branch, MI and I have dealing with CSI directly but not Wolerine. I know of people that have delt with Wolverine.

If I had my choice I would go with CSI. They do an amazing job. Everything I have seen come from them work almost flawlessly. If there is something you want done out of the ordinary they can do it.

I will share 2 personal stories I have with you. First, just before I had joined my first dept. we had a motel fire that just had been remodeled. It destoryed about half the building. The truck that was our pumper/tanker had a front mount pump. In the area where we had to drive to dump the water was all grass. After a few time of tankers driving over it it became very muddy and soft. Well needless to say it got stuck backing down to the dump tank. The truck sank to the rear axle. So thinking we could just pull it out we had a loader with a tow strap hook onto the hook mounted on the dumper. It ended up pulling the whole pump off the truck. The truck was sent to CSI a few day later and within a week and a half it was back in service.

Second, on the second dept. I was on we bought a used pumper and wanted foam capabilities added. We called them up and they said not problem. It took about 3 week to comlete. After we got it back we had had some trouble with the system. Again we called them and told them the problem and the sent someone to our station about 100 miles north of Grayling to Carp Lake to fix it. Thing were good for a while the more problems. Finally they actually came and picked up the truck and took it back to fix it.

I know they will stand behind anything they do wheather it be a new built truck or retro fit. I would definately recommend CSI.

Being in Michigan, I would also suggest the possibility of a Marion/Spartan truck out of Marion, Wisconsin. They did a fabulous job on our truck (a picture is on my page and also on www.marionbodyworks.com under recent deliveries-ladder trucks). Whether you are looking at a custom build or a stock truck...I would definately suggest taking a look at them. Ours was a custom build and we have many hours of video of them working on OUR truck...building it piece by piece by hand. These people take great pride in their craftsmanship...and their service.

This is true. It's personally happened to me, I've heard horror stories about it, and someone I work with has even stated that she purposely does this as well. However, if it were her house on fire, or her husband and/or children that needed help,...
