New 'Application Vault' Added to Firefighter Nation -- Status, File Sharing, Buddy Connections & More

We've launched a new 'Application' vault on Firefighter Nation!

You can visit this link to check out the first 30 or so applications or select the 'Add Application' link just below your rating box on your profile.

There are some very cool features you can add to your profile immediately, including 'Status' which is available on the first page of the applications. This lets you type in your current 'status' just like you do on Facebook or MySpace. And you can also add RSS feeds of your status you post elsewhere, including Twitter and Facebook.

A new 'Alerts' tab in your inbox will let you know when others have updated select applications.

Other great apps include Box.net's File Sharing tool, a poll addition, Buddy Poke, GroupCard. games and more. Check the Applications out today.

We'll be adding more applications regularly, so keep checking back. We'll send announcements when there are really hot new apps available everyone may enjoy. We'll also be adding an 'Apps' tab to the site's navigation.

Once you've added your application, it will typically appear initially at the bottom of the cneter column of your profile. To move it up, simply 'drag and drop' it to wherever you'd like. For a tutorial on moving your profile elements around, see this link:
