I've got a fellow brother firefighter who's wife is in ICU do to a thyroid infection in her throat, and her airway is closing up on her, they did tube her in the middle of the night and have her on a vent, but she's still in a life threating situation and if the infection gets to her heart there's going to be massive problems and it's making its way there now. She was a firefighter for 10 years five of them with use. Please keep her in your prayers! She's only 35 years old.

Thanks, TJ

Well she's doing a little better and the doctors seem to think the swelling is going down and as long as this keeps going, they might be able to pull her tube out in a couple of days.

Thanks A Lot, TJ

Rusty, knowing what to care about is something everyone should be doing out there. It has nothing to do with being an officer or a chief. That being said I'm happy being a hose monkey. Besides, my people skills suck.
