The City of Rogers, Arkansas, is currently accepting applications for Firefighter/EMT with the Rogers Fire Department. Minimum requirements are as follows:
21 Years of Age
No Criminal Record
Good Driving Record
High School Diploma or GED
Arkansas EMT-Basic Certification

The following describes the hiring process for the RFD. In an attempt to employ the best and most qualified individuals, this process has been engineered to be extremely competitive and therefore candidates are encouraged to apply with previous emergency service experience and a college education:
1.Candidates complete written test
2.Passing candidates complete physical ability test
3.Successful candidates complete Civil Service interviews
4.Candidates complete interview with RFD Chief Officers
5.Conditional Offer of Employment extended to candidates
6.Candidates complete entry medical physical
7.Final approval by Mayor

Salary is competitive with all departments in the 4 state area of Arkansas, Oklahoma, Kansas, and Missouri
