Description:

Applications are being accepted to establish a Firefighter Medic eligibility list.  Candidate must have current Virginia certification as an Emergency Medical Technician–Intermediate, Paramedic or Emergency Medical Technician–Paramedic.  Virginia and/or National Certification as Firefighter II, Hazmat Awareness and Operations, Emergency Vehicle Operators Course Level II, and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation.  High school graduate or GED and valid Virginia driver’s license required.  Candidate must meet all Departmental, City and State requirements for position, and provide copies of certifications with application.
