The family of Lt. Brad Hutcherson and the staff of his Memorial Fire School is proud to inform you that a date has been selected for the 2nd Annual Lt. Brad Hutcherson Memorial Fire School. The 2009 event will once again be in the fall, during the month of November. The date of Saturday, November 7th was selected to give career and volunteer emergency providers the opportunity to participate.

The Fire School Advisory Board will be meeting throughout the year to bring you another terrific event that will provide training excellence while continuing to honor the memory of Lt. Brad Hutcherson and the core values on which the Fire School was built.

We plan to bring back some of your favorite Instructors and classes, while expanding the course selection as well. There will be many opportunities to choose from as we continue to bring you the best training in the area.

Lunch will once again be served to all participants and there will be Fire School merchandise available for purchase throughout the day.

We also plan to bring back the Door Prize and Raffle, which will be conducted at the end of the day. Many of the prizes were won by Firefighters or donated to them to increase their safety or help them perform their jobs better.

Please check the website (ltbhmfs.org) often for event updates, related stories, and other opportunities. We look forward to seeing you in 2009 as we continue to “Remember Brad” while continuing to prepare our emergency responders through training.
