Wyoming Firefighter Dies after Stroke during Response

Longo had been moved out of ICU and started physical therapy.

CASPER, Wyo. (AP) — A firefighter who suffered a massive stroke on his way to a grass fire in Natrona County has died.

The Casper Star-Tribune (http://bit.ly/Jfu27z ) reports that Adam Longo died Wednesday. Fire inspector Dave Baker said Longo had been taken out of the intensive care unit at Wyoming Medical Center and had begun physical therapy.

The fire that Longo was responding to on April 12 burned 3,000 square feet if grass and destroyed a small camper.
