NEW YORK (AP) — Crews are working to contain a fire at a Brooklyn apartment building that injured two firefighters early Thursday.
Danny Glover, of the New York City Fire Department, says the fire at an apartment building in Brooklyn's Bay Ridge neighborhood was reported at about 3:30 a.m. The four-alarm fire had damaged two residences and was not yet fully under control early Thursday.
He says one firefighter had suffered minor injuries and another was in serious but stable condition after being treated for a headache and nausea. No resident injuries had been reported.
The cause of the fire was not immediately clear.
