PHILADELPHIA (MyFoxPhilly.com) - As a large number of mourners and fellow firefighters came to grieve the loss of two city firefighters and to raise money for their families at a bar in the city’s Holmesburg neighborhood Friday, a heartless thief took items donated to the fundraiser, which has many people outraged.

Surveillance video at SmokeEaters Pub captured the cold-hearted thief in the act shortly before 11 p.m., according to the time indicator on the film.

The man can be seen sneaking into the basement of the bar and cutting open gift baskets that were to be raffled off that night and stealing their contents.

The pub, which a city firefighter owns, quickly posted the image on their Facebook page to try to identify him.

Anyone with any information as to the identity of the man shown in the surveillance video is urged to contact police.
