FireRescue board member Tom Pendley wins the “how-to” category of the 2012 Next Generation Indie Book Awards

FireRescue magazine would like to congratulate Tom Pendley, a longtime board member and contributor to FireRescue. His book, “The Essential Technical Rescue Field Operations Guide” recently won first prize in the “how-to” category of the 2012 Next Generation Indie Book Awards.

For his achievement, Pendley is invited to attend an awards ceremony in early June at The Plaza Hotel in New York City where he will receive a certificate, a medal and a cash prize of $100. His accomplishment will also be published at www.IndieBookAwards.com along with the other winners and finalists in the next few weeks.  

Further, Pendley’s book will be listed in the 2012 Next Generation Indie Book Awards catalog, which will be distributed at Book Expo America in New York to thousands of attendees, including book buyers, library representatives, media, industry professionals and others.
