PITTSBORO, Miss. (AP) — Authorities say two children have died in a house fire Thursday in Calhoun County.
Sheriff Greg Pollan tells WTVA-TV (http://bit.ly/M8lbs9 ) that his office received a call about 7:30 a.m. about a fire in the Stingtown community.
Pollan says the home was fully engulfed in flames when firefighters and sheriff's officials arrived.
Pollan says a 3-year-old girl and a 10-year-old boy died in the fire. Their names have not been released.
Pollan says the cause of the fire is under investigation.
