Lois Jean Sutphen, age 83, died in Venice, Florida on April 30, 2012.
Lois was born on March 15, 1929, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Survivors include her husband of 62 years, Robert M. Sutphen, 4 children – Daniel (Suzanne), Dareth Fowler, Diane (James) Holland, Drew (Judi), 8 grandchildren, (Harry Sutphen, Hilary Davis, Hayley Sutphen, Dareth Elizabeth Fowler, James Holland III, Robert Corbin Holland, Sean Sutphen & Shelby Sutphen) 4 great grandchildren (Madison Sutphen, Harrison Sutphen, Lilly Mae Davis, Janie Marie Davis) brother-in-law and sister-in-law (Tom & Tamea Sutphen) along with many nieces and nephews.
Lois was preceded in death by her parents William & Agnes Meyer.
Lois was incredibly devoted to her husband, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She inspired all lives she touched. Her favorite moments were spent with family and friends whether it was in Columbus, Ohio, Northern Michigan or Boca Grande, Florida.
Following cremation, a private family ceremony will be held at a later date.
